41st ECCHRD meeting

July 2-3, 2026

Forty-five years after it was first convened by the Directorate of Human Rights of the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, the 41st Annual Meeting of the European Coordination Committee on Human Rights Documentation (ECCHRD) will be held in hybrid format at the Blinken OSA Archivum at Central European University in Budapest. Following a longer break forced upon network members by the COVID19 pandemic and the recent global decline of the human rights movement, this is the third time when the Archivum hosts the meeting after 2011 and 2016.

The ECCHRD is an open network of Europe-based organizations and institutions producing, collecting, and managing human rights information. Its main event, the annual meeting, brings together archivists, documentalists, information managers and librarians to discuss recent projects, share best practices and deliberate on the future of the profession.

Co-organizers: Stefania Saccarola (EIUC) and Csaba Szilágyi (Blinken OSA Archivum)
